Long time, no blog.. I missed at least 10 occasions when I really wanted to blog but did not because of various lame reasons.. I finally decided that i should overcome the laziness and blog! Something that has been on mind all this sem- about how things change, people change.. Change need not necessarily be good,one may not like it, but it jus happens.. Ms n i were walking tonite in our usual route.. the one that has been the same from sem1.. good ol' days.. all of us were always together, no meetings, no comps(=> no addiction to trivia, anagrams, dc), no hanging out in the library, no reports/assigments to write(!!), no anything that we could do alone or no hmm..few other things that i dont really wanna say.. It amazes me when i look back and see how much things have changed.. I've discussed about this with various people around me and everyone pretty much has the same thing to say- '1st sem was the best :) ' and i see no reason to disagree.. Agreed we have so much more to do now but talking to your neighbour on gtalk/dc is the limit! theres very li'l "talking" to friends these days.. Gone are those Saturday nights when we used to stay up till dawn and just talk/laugh about stuff.. Everyone(including me, of course) just prefers to shut themselves up with their comps and the ones who don't like it hang around till 11 and then boom, another day of the semester over! Ah come exams, all the more reason for people to remain shut in their rooms and gobble up their meals in a jiffy and get back to the precious books and over-work the poor things called brains till they scream "leave me alone"!! What is the solution to all this? Is it possible to come up with a plan which will lead to more human interaction? Is it possible to unchange the changes that have occurred in the past few months? will my dream of a perfect sem come true? Highly impossible, I know.. but yeah, whatever it is, you just have to deal with things and accept it the way they are.. sigh!

I can't say my 1st sem was the best, just that every sem seemed better, as I got to know people better. There is no one solution to this, but I think your problem could be solved, even if a lil bit, if you had year long inter hostel events. At least then, there would be some appreciable amount of mingling?

we witnesd the solution alredy.. the power cut!! met n talkd to pple lik neva bfr.. and i saw the laziest of gaming asses whom i neva even saw in the toilets sector.. came down to play cric n blieve me.. hes some talent!

a very true reflection of my thoughts gizzie....i mean talk abt becomin socially DisConnected thts wht has been happening......a zillion orkut and dc buddies whom we dont even talk to face to face....anyway this is better isnt it .....chattin thro' gtalk frm 254 to 255 ..... anagrammin n triviaing all day ......its the awesomest way to spend the last yrs of our coll life.....may this yr bring abt more of indoor time spending.....whoever cares abt long walks ,night outs till dawn in a big group,the ocassional uno games n all tht....we need none of tht .....as long as we have dc ....cheers

but ya when u walk into someones room n they r busy typin away at that blue screen u feel like throwin sumthin at their heads.
on the other hand..dont u think its comical the way we go on walks so purposefully?? lol thinkin abt it!
that big group thing is definitely gone tho..dont even think itll ever come back. its all 3's 2's and even 1's now
